March 3-April 21: Annual Festival of Houses & Gardens
Set amid the historic ambience of the city’s Old & Historic District, this series of award-winning tours showcases Charleston’s distinctive architecture, history, gardens and culture.
Showcasing Charleston’s most fashionable boutiques & trendsetters, and emerging designer and model talent across the country, Charleston Fashion Week® (CFW) has fast become one of the premier events in North America since its founding in 2007.
Inspired by the rich historical, architectural and cultural heritage of Charleston, the annual Charleston Antiques Show is a premier destination for collectors and enthusiasts who enjoy seeing and learning about incorporating antiques into modern-day decor.
The Garden Club of Charleston maintains some of themes notable gardens in Charleston including, The Charleston Museum, The Confederate Home,The Gateway Walk, The Hayward Washington Home , The Joseph Manigault House and The Legare-Waring House, just to name a few.
March 30-31: Charleston Bluegrass Festival
The fest promises to be a family friendly lowcountry camping event featuring two side by side stages of regional and local bluegrass and almost bluegrass, and a Saturday Hungry Monk Music Stage featuring Fire Ant Fiddle Contest for all ages, Fire Ant Band Contest and a Hungry Monk Band Scramble open to everyone.
