Greetings, Festiva travelers. Are you going to Central Florida soon? Let’s take a look at all the wonderful festivals in store for this month and beyond in central Florida.

June 1-30: Bite 30 in Orlando
Participating Orlando restaurants in June offer special prix fixe menus that tantalize with multi-course dinners at a set price ($30 for dinner). Diners get the opportunity to try multiple dishes on the restaurant’s menu for about the cost of a single entree, and restaurants get to showcase their specialty dishes to the new customers attracted by the Bite30 menu!

June 1 – July 31: Sea Turtle Walk in Melbourne Beach
Each year, visitors and residents line up to take part in a nightly guided turtle walk for a glimpse at nesting loggerhead sea turtles, a common Florida variety, in the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge.

June 1-2: Silver Spurs Rodeo, Kissimmee
The Silver Spurs Rodeo is the largest rodeo east of the Mississippi and is annually ranked among the top 50 events sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA).

June 2: Drake’s Raid Reenactment, St. Augustine
This exciting historical re-enactment at the Fountain of Youth and in the evening along St. George Street brings to life the siege of San Agustín by Sir Francis Drake in 1586.

June 2: Art Stroll and Gallery Walk, New Smyrna Beach
Held on the first Saturday each month, historic Canal Street livens up with art vendors, musicians and exhibitions. 

June 2-3: Kite Festival, New Smyrna Beach
Dozens of tethered kites, demonstrations and competitions with a kid’s zone and free kites to the first 400 children each day of the festival. 

June 8-10: Summerfest Grape Stomp, Clermont
Lakeridge Winery and Vineyards’ annual event includes grape stomping, local artists, live music, wine and food. 

June 21 to 23 and June 28 to 30: St. Augustine Music Fest
The 11th Annual St. Augustine Music Festival will take place over two weekends (Thursday – Saturday) from June 21 to 23 and June 28 to 30, 2018, at the Cathedral Basilica in St. Augustine. There will be six concerts in all, beginning at 7:30 p.m. each night. The concerts are free and will feature selections from a range of composers, including Mozart, Bach, Haydn, Schubert, Beethoven, Ravel, and Stravinsky.

June 16: 3rd annual Festival of the Sea, Orlando
This family event celebrating seafood features multiple seafood vendors, beer & wine garden, Arts & Crafts vendors, and a kids play area. 

June 22-23: Celebrity Mascot Games, Orlando
Watch more than 30 mascots from the NFL, NHL, NBA, NCAA and MLB compete in gladiator-themed games to determine who are the champions of the mascot world. All proceeds benefit New Hope for Kids.

June 23: Wine Walk & Art Walk, New Smyrna Beach
Stroll Flagler Avenue and explore over 100 interesting wines inside local pubs, galleries and restaurants during this monthly progressive wine tasting event. 

June 28: Climb to the Moon, Ponce Inlet
Climb to the Moon at Ponce Inlet Lighthouse offers views of the sunset and moonrise from atop Florida’s tallest lighthouse on a select day each month. The lighthouse keeper relates the story of this National Historic Landmark, and visitors can enjoy beverages and hors d’oeuvres. Participation is limited to 25 people and tickets must be purchased in advance by calling 386-761-1821 ext. 10. 4931. 7:45 to 9:15 p.m.
