CARTERET COUNTY ARTS & CRAFTS COALITION SUMMER SHOW: June 30- July 1
This is a juried sale of arts and crafts of coastal artisans held three weekends in a year. Held at the Beaufort Historic Site, this is the perfect occasion to browse and buy the work of coastal artists and craftsman.
GREAT 4TH RACE: July 7
Traditionally-rigged sailing craft rally to celebrate the historic voyages that carried the news of the signing of the Declaration of Independence to the Outer Banks will be in Taylor’s Creek.
34TH ANNUAL RSWSC KING MACKEREL TOURNAMENT: July 27-28
Join the Raleigh Saltwater Sport Fishing Club in kicking off the 2018 Division 1 SKA Season in beautiful Morehead City, North Carolina. As always, there will be huge payouts and plenty of family friendly competition for anglers and teams of all levels.

Take a leisurely bicycle ride through the historic tree-lined streets historic as a guide tells you about Beaufort’s past. Then, relax and enjoy Sunday Brunch at Beaufort Grocery Company, one of the region’s most renowned dining establishments.
FORT MACON GUIDED TOUR
Meet in the Fort entrance for a guided tour of Fort Macon. Tours last approximately 45 minutes and are held Monday through Friday at 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m.
Movie Night at Atlantic Beach
Come out for FREE Wednesday movie nights at the Circle along the Boardwalk in Atlantic Beach. Bring chairs or blankets. Movies start at 8:30. Rain date: Thursday nights.
Summer Concerts at Fort Macon
Bring a folding chair and enjoy an hour long concert by local bands and artists inside historic Fort Macon. All concerts are free although donations are most welcomed. Doors open early for picnickers and all who want to take in the beautiful setting. Just in case it rains the concerts will be held inside the Education Center at the Fort.
