June 20-22: BITE NW Arkansas
Bite is a three-day food festival as part of #NWAChampionship Week in NW Arkansas. The festival celebrates the region’s best cuisines, ingredients, restaurants and chefs at one unique event. Taste, sip, sample and discover the best of NW Arkansas and beyond.
Continuing to November 24: Rodeo of the Ozarks
Bring the entire family out to celebrate Arkansas’ western heritage during the 73rd annual Rodeo of the Ozarks! Nearly 500 professional athletes will compete in seven PRCA and WPRA sanctioned events: tie down roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, team roping, and the ever popular bull riding. Known as one of the top large outdoor rodeos by the PRCA, Rodeo of the Ozarks brings the best cowboys and the best stock together for four nights of rodeo action.
June 22-July 20: Opera in the Ozarks
The nationally acclaimed summer music festival and training program for top emerging opera professionals celebrates its 2018 season from June 22 to July 20 with nearly two dozen performances of three all-time opera greats. Featuring Gioachino Rossini’s comedic masterpiece Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Douglas Moore’s love story The Ballad of Baby Doe, and Johann Strauss II’s lively operetta Die Fledermaus. Nineteen performances will take place at Inspiration Point in Eureka Springs, and three at the Arts Center of the Ozarks in Springdale.
July 6-8: Highberry Music Festival
This festival features top touring acts and local favorites playing jam, bluegrass, rock and more. Aside from the stellar lineup, attendees can expect a plethora of workshops, activities, great food, beer and fun for the whole family.
