Greetings, Festiva travelers. Are you going to Cape Cod soon? Let’s take a look at all the wonderful festivals in store for this month and beyond at this vacation icon.

May 26- Oct. 8: Hyannis Art Shanties
Browse among the seven colorful shanties at Ocean Street docks – featuring local artists who work and sell their wares right from their “seaside studios”.  Artwork varies and includes painting, jewelry, sculpture, glass, ceramics, mariner knot work, wood carving, and much more! Artists change weekly.

June 9-10: Boston Dragon Boat Festival
Performances. Arts and crafts demonstrations. Tasty Asian foods.  It’s all here at North America’s longest running Dragon Boat Festival!

June 15-17: Nantucket Book Festival
On an island that has captured the imagination of Melville, Benchley, Philbrick and countless others, the Nantucket Book Festival continues that great literary tradition by bringing today’s best and brightest authors to Nantucket for a weekend in celebration of the written and spoken word. The festival features many free talks, readings, and presentations throughout the long weekend, with trademark ticketed events that include Authors in Bars and the annual Cisco Brewers’ Pig Roast.

June 15-17: Arts Alive Fest
Arts Alive is free 3-day celebration of the arts in Falmouth and the Upper Cape. 

June 20-25: Nantucket Film Fest
With special appearances by Adam Driver and Ben Stiller.

June 21-24: Provincetown Portuguese Festival 2018 & Blessing of the Fleet
This weekend celebration of the culture and heritage of the Portuguese in Provincetown is an annual event filled with traditional Portuguese dancing, music, and cuisine. This family-friendly festival features incredible food and entertainment and fun activities for adults and kids.

June 23: Cape Cod Chowder Festival
A Cape Cod tradition continues with WCOD cooking up its annual “Chowder Fest” at the Melody Tent. It’s the recipe for a perfect day of sipping and slurping samples of chowder from many of the Cape’s best restaurants, all competing for the coveted “WCOD Chowder Bowl.”

June 30-July 4: Boston Harborfest
The Harborfest is a 37 year-old tradition celebrating Boston’s harbor and history.
