Irish Fest New Orleans 2018- September 15
Irish Fest New Orleans emphasizes Irish cultural traditions that enrich the lives of people in the region, through a highly visible, vibrant, and modern day celebration.
NOLA Horror Film Fest- September 20-23
This year’s Horror Film Fest will feature an official selection of 60 films and 20 screenplay finalists, panel discussions, opening and closing parties and an award ceremony. Opening night will include a screening of Louisiana produced feature film, The God Inside My Ear. The closing night feature film presentation will be Framed, a selection from Spain.
NATIONAL FRIED CHICKEN FEST– September 22-23
The free, outdoor, two-day festival has food from more than 35 restaurants, music on two stages, cooking demonstrations, and family-friendly activities, as well as a fried chicken tender eating contest. And, naturally, the chefs compete in a best fried chicken contest judged by local and national food critics.
9th Annual NOLA on Tap Beer Fest- September 22
NOLA on Tap is the largest beer fest in the region. 25,000+ beer lovers help kick-off Oktoberfest in New Orleans.
