Visitors to Alabama’s Gulf Coast This Spring can Expect Google Waterway View

As a thriving tourism destination, and one with inland waterways snaking their way around the area, the twin resort cities of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, Alabama are primed to bring Google’s Street View technology onto the water. Starting this March, Google will be filming the waterways of the area to incorporate Waterway View as an extension into their maps app. This is only the second location in the country to incorporate the unique Waterway View, ensuring that visitors will have no problem getting around by land or sea!

Look for an updated app put out soon by the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber incorporating the Chamber’s guide, Google Street View Indoors, and Waterway View.
