Hurricane Dorian Update

This storm has changed quite a bit over the weekend and now it looks like there’s less of a threat of a direct hit to Florida, but the Carolina Coast is at risk. As of today, Tuesday, September 3, our resorts along the coasts of Florida and South Carolina are closed until further notice for the safety of our employees and guests. The reopening date will depend on the path of the storm over the next few days.

After the storm passes and we’ve been given the all-clear to return to the evacuated areas, our resort teams must complete full property inspections to assess any damage, submit insurance claims, and make necessary repairs. Our general managers and their teams are experienced in this process and will be as efficient as possible, so we appreciate your understanding throughout this event.

We have made efforts to reach out to all incoming owners via phone and email to discuss changing your reservation. If you have not yet heard from us, please contact the Festiva Owner Service team to discuss changing your plans.

  1. I was — understandably — unable to reach anyone at the office today at Peppertree. My husband and I had planned to drive to North Myrtle Beach from Dayton, Ohio for check-in at Peppertree, Unit 405, this Saturday, 9/7/19, for a week. We are of course very concerned about potential damage and flooding, and if we can even reach the coast, so we are asking that our Reservation # 1976355 be cancelled. I have emailed this same request to the “Contact Us” site on the https://festiva.com/oceanclub.php website. I have stayed at Peppertree 3 or 4 times and love it, and will do so again as soon as possible. Prayers and best wishes for all who live, work and play on this beautiful coast.       Thank you for your message. Did you make your reservation directly through the Ocean Club or via some other method? We have been reaching out to all guests with upcoming reservations, I just want to be sure we get your cancellation to the correct department.
